Wordle is a free daily word puzzle where your goal is to guess a hidden five-letter word in six tries. After every guess the tiles change colour to tell you how close you are — green for a correct letter in the right place, yellow for a right letter in the wrong place, and grey for letters that aren't in the word at all. Wordle is keyboard-first and works on any device:

• A–Z Type letters on your physical keyboard, or tap the on-screen keys on mobile.
• Enter Submit your current guess.
• Backspace Delete the last letter you typed.

• Start with a vowel-rich word. Openers like ADIEU, AUDIO, RAISE or CRANE test the most common letters fast.
• Knock out consonants next. A strong second guess (e.g. CLOTH or POINT) covers letters your opener missed.
• Mind repeated letters. Words like LEVEL or BERRY reuse a letter — don't assume each letter appears only once.
• Use the keyboard colours. Greyed-out keys are gone; focus only on letters still in play.
• Place your greens, then shuffle yellows. Lock confirmed letters and rotate the misplaced ones into new positions.
• Warm up in Practice. Unlimited rounds are the best way to learn good starting words before the daily puzzle.
